And the finished prototype . The actual sitting down at the sewing machine was a lot less than an hour , which I'm really pleased about . The thought process took a lot lot longer !!!! I have never followed patterns ( because I can't ) so make my own up. Here's the finished prototype which I will tweak .

The one hour bag.
At the moment I am mastering the one hour bag. I want to make them for fairs and Etsy but need to keep costs down. Materials cost pennies so if I can manage to make something within an hour the savings can then be passed to the buyer. And we all love a bargain!! Here are the materials I will use.

What I wanted to buy but didn't need!
These items are what I would have bought if I'd not set myself strict rules ! All from Jane's stall . Jane usually collaborates with Oooh Betty but was flying solo :)

Treasure from Vintage Village at Stockport Market
Having a stall at The Vintage Village at Stockport market is always incredibly tempting as you can imagine , so this month I only allowed myself to buy items that I re-use myself or would use everyday.
You can't have too much Pyrex and is used everyday in the Faulkner house. The fabrics and trimmings are for future projects ,watch this space.
My downfall was when I found out from Emma ( Oooh Betty ) that Emma Pickle was over at The Teenage Market ! I'd already pinned some of her work on Pinterest and couldn't resist buying one of her tea towels .
Now in theory it is for everyday use but I will definitely not be drying my pots with it so I will be framing and admiring on a daily basis instead .
