Vintage Miffy

I love Miffy and a childhood favourite of mine - I was lucky enough to stumble across some vintage 1974 Miffy fabric in a great shop. They will be coming with me to a craft fair in Heaton Moor . I love how she always looks slightly unimpressed and wears the cutest dresses.

Baby bunting

I hate waste , don't you ? I had really small amounts of fabric left from preparing my "Oh Deer ! " softies and have a few fairs coming up and have added "Baby Bunting" to my stock .

Favourite fabric

It's hard to have a favourite, I know , but this fabric rekindled my passion for creating. Creating and having small amounts of time here and there to do it keeps me sane. Having to work full time in a job that does little for the imagination. Making and creating is my saving grace. :)

Archives

And there is more.

Archives

I've just discovered that its four years virtually to the day that I have been making cushions on a regular basis. I had decided to blitz the "sewing department" after the Vintage Village fair and discovered some fabrics I used right at the beginning. I'm going to post photos over the next few days to keep a photographic record .

50s Baila fabric

A lovely find at the Vintage Village fair was a pair of 1950s screen printed curtains . When you delve into a suitcase of fabric and discover something lovely. It's a really unusual design but I love it
