Shelf One

I live in a perpetual building site - surviving as a single parent and home owner during a credit crunch has affected the old purse strings . Work started 5 years ago and came to an abrupt halt and as its structural there is no point in wasting money decorating. However , I take solace in thrifty purchases and fill my ikea unit with my treasures - here is shelf one and includes my Bun ( rabbit ) made by Oooh Betty

  1. Ooooh Jodi-Jo I have serious storage pot envy!! I love that design so much, I missed out on a set of soup bowls from Planet Utopia a while ago, if you ever come across anything in that pattern please let me know, I'll snap it up!

I hear you on the house front, ours is just too full, it's tiny and we can't afford to move, and with 4 messy people and a dog and a whole load of vintage tat/treasure (guess which is my point of view?!) it's bursting at the seams. Bit I still can't resist a vintage treat!

Hope you're having a good week! Rachel xx

I believe all us makers / fabric lovers are naturally messy. Its part of the genes. I will keep an eye out for the soup bowls, lucky find as always !!
I hope your building/kitchen work is running smoothly :)
Have a lovely week too , Jo xx
